When I call in, I always get a friendly voice and someone willing to help me with my needs. I love having the personal service which I never had with the previous company. This Allstate office is very attentive and is very service oriented. Not only did I get comparable rates but I have someone local I can talk to or even an office I can walk into and get help. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I transferred my insurance with this firm. My agent Michael Smith assured me they would contact my previous insurance company GMAC to cancel my current coverage. This was suppose to have happened in Jan 2013. It is now July of 2013. I just found out, this never took place. I have had almost $600 dollars taken out of my account and called my agent's cell number. Still no call back and calling All State Customer service to resolve the issue. It is 5:24 pm on a Saturday. There is no way to get back the last 90 minutes of my life back or the aggravation caused by the agent dropping the ball. I mean how hard is it to collect a check and process an insurance order. The corporate Customer agent did not comprehend the problem and made the matter worse. This has been the worst experience ever. Allstate overall down to the Agent at this office is pushing me towards finding another Agency. Travelers perhaps. I mean come on, being an agent is all about the Customer Service. They should have a corporate policy that refunds a portion or all of your rate for not following through on something this easy.
