  Apparently very few BofA bank branches answer their phones. It's even stated on the BofA site that when you call them you will most likely be redirected to the national call queue... which begs the question, why have a branch? Just another way they illustrate they do not care about their customers. Now I have to get in my car and drive 1.5 miles to ask a question (which no doubt I will wait at least 20 minutes to speak w/someone). I'll soon change banks as a result... what's the point of having a bank with local branches if you can't get any help?

  As a business owner myself, I have accounts with eight (8) different banks, some large, national banks and some regional banks. I have never had consistent problems with any bank other than Bank of America, including this branch which I visited today. They refused to honor a check originating from their own institution even though I had multiple (3) forms of proof of my company and multiple forms of proof of my personal identity and position in my business. Staff was not helpful and would not budge an inch. If you want to save yourself a lot of future hassle then *avoid this bank* and avoid this branch. There are plenty of good nearby banks (some right across the street) that will save you a lot of grief. This is not the only time I have had this problem with BofA. Stay away.
