  I visited with this attorney recently and stopped my appointment at the 30 minute mark instead of following through with the hour-long consultation I had originally planned for. I felt Ms. McGrann was impersonal and brusque. While attempting to give a brief rundown of my history and the need for her services, she chose to focus on an unimportant and unrelated matter to which she implied I was "stupid" as most "women can be because of our [chemical and hormonal make-up]." I prefer an attorney who can listen to the details of my case and make statements based on the overall picture, not stereotype me based on my situation and past, or focus on irrelevant circumstances not related to the case at hand. Their website states: "We understand that each legal situation is unique and we take the time to listen carefully... If you seek a firm that will be guided by your wisdom while guiding you and advising you with legal knowledge, experience, and even emotional intelligence, you have found the firm which will serve your needs." I find that statement couldn't be farther from the truth. I would not recommend this attorney if your current situation (divorce, custody battle, custody agreement, child support etc) is one that you would require empathy and respect from your legal adviser.
